Learning to adjust

If there is one thing i can say about being a christian is that it is a life of constant adjustment. God will take you to places you never thought you would go, say things you never thought you would say, see things you never thought you could see, or feel things you never thought you could feel.

I moved to Hernando about 3 months ago. If somebody were to tell me five years ago that I would be living in Memphis, TN and would be a preacher's wife I would have laughed in their face and then called State Hospital and asked them if they had a room available. I never thought my life would be called into the ministry serving beside my husband, a preacher. I am learning to adjust to a new place, stepped into a family, in October I will be stepping into the role of preacher's wife, and in a few short years (hopefully) I will be stepping into the role of mother. Three things I never ever thought I would be do. God has a funny way of doing things. He has very unique in his selection of roles. He always chooses the most unlikely person to accomplish the most unlikely of tasks. One thing I know for certain Christ is the solid rock in which I stand. He is with me every step of the way.

In 144 days Richard and I will take our fist steps into the journey of the Crowson's. Right now we are preparing for the trip. :)
