Off to A Good Start

Well the cake has been cut and the thank-you cards have been mailed! The wedding is officially over and Sophie, the cat, has a new roommate. A much larger roommate. She is adjusting well to the new man living in the house and is actually quite found of him.  I think it is because he provides a bigger lap for her to sleep in. We are adjusting well to our new life together.  I will admit that the 'waking up early part' took me awhile to get use to.  I am now usually up before him even if it is just by minutes.  There are a few absolute truths I have discovered in the months of being married.

1) There will never be enough groceries
2) I will never be caught up with dishes
3) I will never be caught up with laundry
4) There is no such thing as a clean kitchen floor no matter how hard I try
5) There will never be a moment where absolutely everything works, has charged batteries, has been cleaned, or is not making a 'funny noise'
6) I will never ever be able to stop dusting
7) No matter how much of a simple life we try to live we will always have to much stuff.

Richard has been intern pastoring at Crossroads Baptist Church in Southaven.  A very small church but I love the people there. Very large hearts.  I started teaching Sunday School and I am currently teaching 3-5 high school students through the life of Saul and David. One of my favorite stories.  I pray that I am half-way doing a decent job. I have also been volunteering at Safehaven of North Ms, Inc where Richard works.
please, please please pray for this ministry.  www.safehavenofnorthms.com.  We need anyone and everyone to pray for us!

In the few short months that we have been married we have already seen some sad days.  Two days after returning from our honeymoon my great-grandmother passed away. We thought we had lost Sophie in January and we had a health scare in February. Most of our days have been spent in laughter.  Not much else to do with no cable or internet. haha

Please keep us and Safehaven in your prayers.
In Christ,
The Crowsons
